Beautiful

Beautiful weather here in WI. A good 20 or more degrees above normal.

I've been busy working with Gunner on strengthening his rear leg and general cardio-vascular work. Some of the ground work is really starting to pay off. Yesterday The man pulled in with truck and trailer while I was working on saddling him. He did get excited, but I was able to control him and his "quarters" so he had to pay attention to me and not freak out as he would have in the past.

I've also been working with Catman (the fish, swordfish, catfish, whatever) on lounging and ground manners. He is respectful with some minor corrections. He does test his handler, but nothing too severe.

Classy has been jealous of all the attention I give the boy so I do work with her a little. I'm still amazed at the different personalities horses have.

Today we will be off to pick up S's new horse Dixie. The girls have spring break, so I have feeling Wed-Sun will be filled with lots of riding!

Classy being jealous only goes to show how much personality they do have! Sounds like you've got your hands full!

You're right it has been beautiful here in WI earlier this week. I was out with my girls, brushing mud chunks off and talk about jealousy. They took turns poking at me. When I stopped with one and started on the other, they would poke at me, "My turn now". Where in WI are you? I'm in the southeast.
