Now Playing at a Wedding Near You...

N and her flute quartet played Cannon in Gige at the local solo and ensemble competition and qualified for state competition in April. The judge said they should start looking at gigs at weddings. It was beautiful!

She also qualified with the woodwind ensemble and the flute choir.

She placed second in her flute solo and first in her piano solo and piano duet.

It was a wonderful day, but we are glad it's over and she can move on to new music and set new goals.

I didn't take the new camera and had difficulty with the old camera. Here's a shot of her toe in the flute choir.

I know you guys must be so proud of her. The flute makes such a pleasant sound. I tried and could never get it, I was a clarinet in school. Sadly I can't play but a few notes now.
