But not today. Today S and I turned the horses into the new pasture. They have a couple of wonderful old trees to get shade under, a fresh water fountain to drink from, and lots of beautiful green grass to fill their tummies.
The new mares seemd the most excited. I think the dry lot must have been dampening their spirits a bit. Keo especially kept gazing off into the distance and wandering the pasture to take it all in.
She is recovering well from Lyme Disease. N rode her for the first time yesterday afternoon. She looks pretty good in my humble opinion, she just needs a little muscling.

The lyme disease thing scares me. We have so many ticks.
I love your pictures. The horses are just beautiful. My horses are coming home from dad's pasture back to their own today. I can't wait to get them home! My baby Spirit has been so homesick!!!
What a beautiful green pasture. My horses would think they were in heaven. Theirs is a 3-acre dry lot dotted with pinon trees.
How beautiful!
Kathy I hope you and yours have a sensational Memorial Day weekend together!
Kathy, your photos are absolutely lovely. How's that banner coming along? Wanna come to a graduation open house? ;)
Oh yeah - and I'm tagging you. Stop over at my blog.
