Here's the kitties I saved this fall. Their mama gave them up at birth. (*cough*wench*cough*)
The one on the left is Timmy. He's my sweetie. If you've known me long you know I have a softness for black and white animals. No, we don't own holsteins (suprisingly enough). I have to be very careful and not look at pictures of black and white horses for sale, because they make we want to go buy them. Even if I don't NEED another horse, and I acutally have one too many now! Certainly not one from Minnesota. (but keep sending those pics anyway Tammy, a girl's gotta dream)
The one on the right has many names. Some days its "the spawn of the devil." Some days he's Osa or bear. He has a little tail, thus the bear association. He likes to lie as flat on the ground as possible, that way we don't see him and he can surprise attack us! During this time he is known as Flat Stanley. Jack likes to call him Dave. Jack has a fondness for hockey, and in the movie Slapshot one of the actors says "Let's call him Dave, Dave's a killer!" or some such nonsense. I tried to sit through the movies, really I did. I think I don't have enough parts to appreciate it. ha ha. Shyla likes to call him Tommy, cause it rolls off her tongue better to say Timmy and Tommy. At any rate, he is known for hissing at people who smell different than us. Especially smokers. It's a great parlor joke, "here, hold my cute kitty..."
The pair spend the day tearing apart my house. Today when I got home I left the groceries on the floor as I helped Shyla with homework. Timmy, the little darling tore into the bag and ate a piece of crust off of three slices of bread Osa, on the otherhand spent his day chasing the sparrow that was in our basement, growling and jumping... The sparrow has been rescued, and Osa is back to being Flat Stanley... (or Dave)

I'll bet you have your hands full with these two adorable boys! Don't you love the Flat Stanly pose? Emma is really good at it.
