Things are just moving along here at a rapid pace. Tennis season wrapped up last week. S is on her last two weeks of volleyball. Homecoming came and went along with the last home game of football.
This last weekend was the marching band competition in northern Wisconsin which I helped chaperone. Our young band has a long ways to go to compete against the other high school bands, but it will come.
The colors up nort where more than beautiful. As always it is descending south and I find myself surrounded by a beautiful plethora of fall colors as I drive the country roads around our house. Fall remains my favorite season as we scurry to get ready for winter like the squirrels who hide the black walnuts that litter our yard.
With our schedule and upcoming bills I have decided not to board this fall after all. I am still hoping for a trail ride or two before it gets too cold.

What a lovely young woman. I can't believe how much she has grown!
What a gorgeous photo of N. Our babies are women!
And Autumn is truly upon us, Kath! Your Marching band photos are wonderful, too!
Nice photo! Is that a homecoming photo? It's amazing how fast they grow. Mine's now a sophmore in college! Yikes! Where does the time go?
