Did I mention..

I had shingles? I don't know if I mentioned it here. But yes, in mid January I came down with a case of shingles.

I have almost completed one month of meds, and still have one month to go. It's recommended you stay on the meds the entire time to help with lingering pain. I do already have lingering pain, so I am sticking to the meds. Despite the fact that...

Most mornings I wake up okay, but some mornings (like this one) I wake up a bit disoriented. My head today is a bit off. It's hard to concentrate and I feel dizzy. Blah.

SO...if I am not blogging as much as usual we will blame it on that. I can't come up with any other reason. I don't think my life is any busier now than it was in the past, I am just a bit off.

The meds or med is one that is used to help control seizures in epilepsy cases, so I understand the reason my head feels funky.

I did receive a couple of blog awards from some fellow bloggers that I need to get up. Right now I am going to go out and feed the horses and take some pictures (finally) of our snow.

Did I mention our first calf is on the ground? Probably not. It is and she's a cutie. Jack says she's not that good, but because she's the first of the year she looks stellar to me!

Stay tuned...

Shingles, oh ouch! Lindsay had those during and after her cancer treatment. She cried such big tears it was impossible to miss how painful those things were for her. She was putting up with some really bad stuff but those things were just too much. I so feel for you. Hope you get over these soon.

Those things comes along from your immune system being depressed. You need to take better care of yourself so they don't come back. That would really be the pits.

For Lindsay we got stuff at the health food store to boost her immune system. I think cranberry juice was one of the things but don't remember the rest. The people at the store helped us figure it out. It really did help.

I sure hope you're feeling much better soon.

I hate I have gotten so behind on my blogging visits with my friends! Bless your heart, the Shingles suck. My brother had them a few years ago and a friend of mine at work once. Normally you have let yourself get very ran down and overstressed too, right? I have heard they are painful so I hate this happened to you.
