Osa

Last Friday N's new futon arrived bright and early. As the furniture store movers were removing her old bed to storage our cats were bouncing off the walls. They ran up and down the stairs crazily. I had the movers put the mattresses into a trailer here on our property and we went about our day.

Saturday N fiddled and faddled and wasted most of the day away cleaning her room. I say fiddle and faddle because I had expected to begin the painting business Friday night. Mid morning she hauled out the headboard to the trailer only to find one VERY angry Osa. It seems he had spent the day and night in the black trailer. He hissed at her and dug his claws into the mattress when she tried to rescue him.

This morning when I went upstairs to put the final coat of paint on her bedroom walls I laughed at the sight of Osa sleeping on top of the drop cloths. He is such a funny cat. He loves us all to pieces and will purr loudly when we walk in the room. But, on the other hand, he will hiss at you if you don't open the door fast enough when he wants to go outside. He loves to sit on my chest while I read in bed but he he hates to be picked up.
I am not looking forward to cleaning up what ever mess he left in that trailer!

Cats just add a little extra entertainment to a house I think. Osa is a beauty!
