This week's featured artist is Toni Grote. Toni is from Iowa, and paints beautiful landscapes.
In addition she has a wonderful customized snowman series that you can order to your specifications.
Her landscapes speak to me as they are what I see as I drive about rural Wisconsin rushing my kids to this event or that, or when I drive up north to God's country to see my parents or visit the cabin.
She often will incorporate farm animals in her scenery including Angus, which, by the way, The Man has been raising since he was sixteen. Therefore, my favorite work of hers is this one entitled "Angus Cattle In Pasture." Although honestly I love just about everything she does and it was hard to pick one.

Havent come across landscape art like this before, very beautiful, i like the palette.
the boarder she has painted around the work is a first for me too, i like it very much, well done at putting this together.

I love the one with the black angus. My daddy raises cows too...somehow he manages 3 different farms plus helps grandma with hers. But he loves it, it is his life! I really really like that picture, he would like it too!
