I was off to see the vet today. Keo is officially better. N has been okayed to ride her, well, a soon as the rain lets up and things dry out anyway.
I took Classy along to the vet because I wanted an opinion on her arthritis in her shoulder. The vet said she has two very different feet/hooves in the front. Therefore, he recommends having her shoed and having a wedge put in one of the shoes to make her balance out. That should be simple enough. I also had him look at her back. She is shedding out horribly. In fact she looks like an elephant where it has shed out. His diagnosis? She is shedding. LOL ~ Just call me worry wart.
Our first event of the year is Sunday. We can't wait to go and ride. Or I should say, I can't wait to take my girls to ride. I will be watching, because there is no way I want to be moving that fast on a horse. Old women don't bounce THAT well. Well, okay middle aged woman. I hope I live to 84. That would make me middle aged...right?
Friday's art? Sadly didn't happen. I opted to invite our dear friends over for hamburgers on the grill and wine from a box. Yes it was cheap wine, but sometimes that's what you get on the spur of the moment. Time spent with friends is better than any time drawing...
Now it's time for a nap. Did you see I've been getting up at 5 AM????????????

It is always best to take the time to gather with friends....
You make me tired thinking about getting those horses to and from the vets....I hate loading the horses.
So what do you mean by "two very diffetent feet in front". This gave me an image of, say, one horse foot and then maybe a cow hoot, or maybe a person foot. I think she must feel very self-conscious. Maybe she needs some psychotherapy?
lol Katie...not quite a human foot...but he likened it to a club foot!
I'll reserve the psychotherapy for me! Wheee!
