About 10:30 each day the horses take a mid morning nap. Most of them will sleep like this picture of Gunner.
Gunner on the other hand likes to scare me with his possum impressions. He ALWAYS sleeps like this:

And here I thought horses slept standing up. You really do learn something new every day!
Most of the photos I take of Lulu are her sleeping. She does it a lot.
lol - actually horses do sleep standing up Liz. They can't lay down too much or the weight of their body messes with the internal organs on the bottom. Wierd eh?
Now that's unusual! :-)
