This is the view out my window to the right (as facing the computer). You can see our mail box at the edge of the road. The land across the road is part of the farm also. It is the main pasture for the cows.

The road is really an obsticle course. As if deer aren't in the road enough this time a year, our dog Mick has decided the best place to sleep is on black pavement. The other morning I awoke to the sound of a car slowing down and then speeding back up. I figured a cow was out, so I quickly got dressed and went outside. Mick was laying in the road wagging his tail at me as if to say "Ha - made someone else slow down!!"

Now that I am aware of the situation, I am being a responsible pet owner and keeping him out of the road.
