Over the weekend S got to ride Dixie again. We had beautiful weather to be out with the horses. She was able to try a jump with her, do some barrels and just hang out on her. We are very pleased with our purchase.
She also got to ride Gunner for the first time. I only let her sit on him while I lead him around, but it went well.
Here's a few shots of S and Micky. She's been working with him through 4H. This lesson was about showmanship so she is arranging his feet so he is "stacked."
From these pictures you can defiantely see that he is happy and doesn't it look like he is smiling? I might have to leave the area when it is her turn to show, he tends to look at me more than her, which is a huge no no.

I'm so glad that Dixie is working out for S! And Mick is just wonderful. He has such a proud stance, yet he looks happy and friendly at the same time. I just want to hug him.
There's hardly anything better than a big happy dog! Thanks for sharing.
