Here is the latest addition to the herd. His barn name is Catfish, registered Appendix name is Heza Easy Native. Catfish is a 19 year old, ex-pro rodeo gelding.
We took him on a trail ride today and a short workout in the arena where he sweated buckets. He's spent the summer eating hay in a pasture. He rides a bit different than our other horses, but that's okay. They all have their quirks.

My baby Spirit gets his first new shoes tomorrow. Wish me luck! or him luck I guess. It is that time of year that is great here for trail rides and he needs his shoes!
