Off to save the world of evil doers, find a pond and get the goods!

Here the girls are off on their adventure. We met up with a few of Nicole's friends. At this point I asked if Nicole wanted to just hang with her friends. She was up for that, so I got on Nikki and Shyla and I continued on our escapade. Shyla was able to ride up to the front steps of many houses and get candy, and many people came out to her. One friendly neighbor brought out a huge golden delicious for the horses to split. They were much appreciated and left her some apples in return to fertilize her garden.

At one point I was holding the horses and got stepped on, but what would a day riding be without being stepped on? As it grew darker the horses started to get a little more spooked. My biggest adventure was when Nikki tried to jump a ditch (with me on). After riding to the school and visiting Aunt Peggy we decided to continue on with horses in hand. Shortly there after a goblin jumped out of a minivan and startled Kelzon. Shyla was able to quickly calm him and we continued on our way. (one of us limping with tears) Again, what would a ride be without limping and tears??

We made it safely back to the park, loaded up and headed home, another adventure completed. The real adventure will be the year we take the young ones, Sammy and Gunnar into town!
