School started on Tuesday for S. She LOVES Junior High! Has already made new friends and seen lots of old friends. Tonight is the first night of Volleyball practice for her.
N's school started the next day, although on Tuesday she spent it at the highschool as a representative of FFA. She's the secretary of the club this year. So she got to hang out with a couple of friends, catch up with teachers she is friends with and meet some of the new Freshman.
Last night I rode Classy bareback. It was a nice relaxing ride. I didn't feel up to saddling her comletely, mainly because she was in heat again and pretty fidgety. Plus I just felt the need for a slower pace. I convinced N to take a picture of us with her cell phone, so here's a crappy shot of us.
The vet is due in 20 minutes. We are having some much needed dental work done and fall shots. Hopefully everyone will be feeling better afterwards.

and here I thought the photo was intentional so you could be all shy and hide like that. :D I complained as such on facebook. LOL! My apologies. But I don't think it's crappy. Cute, but not crappy.
Oh, and it's GREAT to hear that S loves Jr. High, and that N is getting the year off to such a great start. Your girls are going to go far, Kath. I can feel it. :)

I haven't tried bareback in years! I imagine that would be very nice and peaceful. You'd feel like a natural woman for sure.
