The ducklings arrived sometime between my post of the setting mama and Saturday night. Chloe hatched out her entire clutch.
They are adorable. This morning they were running across the front yard. They move in a flock and usually one or two get caught up in something and get left behind and have to run to catch up. Very sweet.
My oldest daughter N is off to Ohio to spend a couple of days at Cedar Point with a friend. It looks like a fun place and she is having a blast.
S and I went to a dog show on Saturday with our faithful companion Mickey. She placed 10th out of 10 in showmanship. She was first in line to do the pattern and didn't understand what the judge wanted. When it came time for obedience Mick was hot and tired and didn't sit at the heel. During the one minute sit he laid down and that lost her 10 points. She placed 7th out of 16 in that class. One of the great parts of 4-H is the opportunities it allows the kids to grow through both disappointments and accomplishments. She has been working hard yesterday on his sits and hopes to do better this weekend at the State 4-H Dog Show.
I'm including a current picture of my latest art work. I am using Prismacolor colored pictures on Dura-Lar mylar to accomplish the look.

Awesome pic! Are those Muscovies? Don't think I spelled that right! Cute ducklings anyway!
I love the little Muskovies...so precious and beautiful work on your recent picture...really stunning.
I love your recent picture. You've done a wonderful job there. And those babies are sooo cute. I've wanted some for the pond but Martin keeps saying no.
