That's what S has named this Holstein steer. He likes to follow us everywhere
The equine vet was out this morning. Everyone has their shots and new digital camera coggins are on their way.
The vet was impressed with Lloyd's (donkey) cooperativeness. He was quite funny when we got started. I grabbed Dixie first and brought her out of the dry lot and into our hay building. Lloyd brayed and brayed because he couldn't see her. I don't think he will be happy when she leaves this weekend. Love her he does.
The vet also thought Classy looked good. She gave me some tips for when the foal arrives.
She laughed when I told her I had hoped to finish the foaling shed before April 1st. *Sigh* She is right. It's time to make alternative plans. I DO have another shed available, but I had hoped to use the new one. Maybe it WILL thaw between now and then? Unlikely, they keep pushing the upcoming warm up back. Now it will be Monday or Tuesday before we seen 40 degrees.

Oh gosh, do I hear ya on this delayed spring and forever lasting winter!!!!!!!!! Silly steer!
Tell S that is a GREAT photo. I love it. If it were on flickr (it's not, is it?) I'd have to favorite it.
Beautiful.
Ya, I think you're dreaming about that April 1 completion date. But it sure would be nice if just once life would go by our plan, wouldn't it? lol
