The Art Institute of Chicago

Chicago is my very favorite big city. Most likely because I have had the most time to explore it. I have wonderful memories of meeting up with my diva sisters, trips with the family, and hours spent at the Chicago Art Institute wandering around on my own.

Currently the Art Institute has two amazing displays that I must advertise. One is of Winslow Homer's water colors and the other of Edward Hopper. From art class I have been hearing rumors that this is truly a once in a life time opportunity to see some beautiful works of art. If you get a chance, check it out. I will be soon.

I would LOVE to just wander around there for hours, especially with these two exhibits.

I love art exhibitions but it's been a while since I've been to one. All of those years of doing art shows at local malls taught me so much and helped me appreciate real talent.
