Christmas was funtastic as always. Much fun, much eating, and snow this year? You betcha. We are still getting snow. In fact right now it hurts to look outside we are in THAT kind of a winter wonderland.
I just wanted to share with you my goal for today:
I will make specific goals for 2008.
Often my new years goals are grand and wow, wouldn't they be fun to achieve, but really not specific at all. Like "create a portfolio" or "ride more" or "lose weight."
My other goals today include shutting this computer down for the last time and plugging in the new one. That will more than likely take ALL day.
I had many, many recommendations to buy a MAC. I just couldn't take the leap. Sorry. The decision was totally based on all the programs that I would have to buy to work with the MAC. Namely Adobe Creative Suite 2. Other programs as well such as AutoCad and Photodraw and a new Microsoft Office Suite would need to be purchaed. So, thanks for the recommendations, I am still a scared little weenie living in the mid '90's.

I couldnt go Mac either....so I am right there with you!
I could never go Mac either, there's no right click and there is an aweful lot of expensive extras to run what you need. My daughter has one for university and has retrained herself to it, but we found with games and such it does not interface with PC. They're cute and trendy, but not all what they're cracked up to be.
I couldn't go...I wouldn't have a clue nor could I afford to re-do all my Photoshops.

goals are hard for me too... I'm into my 2nd day of NOT smoking....If I can pull this off - NOT buying candy bars in the vending machine - should be easy right?
