Tonight is the open house for the local artist's show that I entered my painting into. I am NOT looking forward to it. At All.
I am not really a very social person. I would prefer to stay at home or go with a group of friends to events like this. Or have Jack accompany me. Sadly he is in Florida so I am on my own.
Luckily because I am a mother I will have both girls with me. One has a hair cut appointment just prior and one has basketball practice immediately following.
You know, if I had a horse to lead into that gallery things would be much much better.

You can do it, Kathy. I'm so glad you stepped out and entered your work. I can understand not looking forward to the social part, though. I am the same way. I'm glad your girls can be with you. Let us know how it goes!
