Or maybe it should read old leaf...as it is just about fall and some of the maples up in Northern WI are already turning color. What a crazy world we live in! Southern WI is completely soaked and struggling with flooding, Northern WI is in a drought with maples already turning and birch trees dying. We in the middle are fine..a little wet and little dry.
At any rate it is the time of year when I try to incorporate new things into my life and revitalize myself. I think it is because the girls go back to school in a week, so I am faced with days of non-running around from 7:20 when S gets on the bus until 3:20 when she gets off. I have signed on to substitute at a couple of the little local elementary schools which fills about 3 days out of the month on average.
On that line I am trying to wean myself off of the internet. I find myself falling into this endless void of surfing the net, and before long half the day is gone.
For instance, I sat down to check the radar to see if we have enough time to ride before the next line of storms comes through. Here it is half an hour later!!
Someone unhooked the hose from the house and I was greeted with a tank full of water siphoned into our basement when I went down to do laundry. So, as you are enjoying your evening think of me mopping up the basement floor and stepping on spiders as I go about moving half the things down there!
Please don't be offended if I don't comment on your blogs as much as in the past or don't post here as often. I'll try to get out about three times a week to keep up! ((hugs and kisses))

So how are things with the girls back at school?
Oh, yes, there just aren't enough hours in the day to do it all. Figuring out which things should be the most important and cutting back on the others can be a trip!
We will miss you!!
