End of the school year...

Thank dog it comes in three days! We've had a hectic end of year between concerts, parades, recitals, multiple horse shows, dog training lessons, 4H activities up the wazoo...the list goes on.

The horse shows have been going well. The girls continue to figure out their horses. N scared us week before last as she was starting to black out in the arena. Come to find out she wasn't breathing. She does the same thing while playing tennis, so it was good to find out the reason why quickly.

Our training with Gunner continues. I am up to trotting him in the arena now and working on my seat and his steering issues. It's SO good to be out of the round pen. N has begun riding him and the fear they had of each other seems to have dissipated. She started loping him on Tuesday and was thrilled to be back where she was two years ago. As much as I would like to have him be completely MY horse, he needs to be at least a back-up for her and S in the show arena.
