The first time I walked in to
I stood in awe and took a deep deep breath. I remember distinctly thinking "WOW!"
I still feel that way everytime I walk in. Today S and I along with a friend and her two girls went to Madison to spend time shopping and browsing around State Street. First we had to stop at H.L. to pick up supplies for a clinic I am holding this weekend.
When ever my friend and I get together our defenses go down and we relax together. Who else would have a feather fight with me in the flower section of H.L. Who else would echo locate me when we get too far apart? Who else would pretend to lounge me when we go to horse shows. Yes, we do get funny looks, but man do we have fun! Face and tummy hurting from too much laughing fun.
So, in the spirit of things today as I waited for her to check out I lounged in the nice leather chair they had placed in the lobby of H.L. Which, by the way are 30% off. As people left the store I thanked them for shopping H.L, and asked them to come again. As people came in I greeted them and told them not to forget to check out the Christmas aisle.
I guess the cashiers were giving me strange looks, it was hard to tell over all the laughing and snorting coming from the kids.
Ya gotta have fun once in awhile. Right?

You are too funny. I can just see you sitting in that 30% off leather chair, asking customers to come back and visit Hobby Lobby again, ya'll.

I love HL but HATE the fact that they do not use scanners because the lines are always long and slow. Also that they are closed on Sundays. Sometimes I feel the need to buy craft supplies I may never use on a Sunday! Who gives me my fix then?
