Slowing Down

Things are finally slowing down after a busy summer. The weekends will consist of catching up on projects that normal people would have done in the summer. You know, people who don't go to horse shows. That and trail riding. I can't wait to go, it's my favorite time to spend with my girls and the horses.

Trail rides relax me, the scenery is great and the girls after picking at each other will relax as well. We ususally have a good time. This fall we even have a few rides scheduled with friends. Hopefully none will involve me landing in a pond. Ha!

S is busy adjusting to fifth grade. She has a tough teacher this year, but has got right into doing her homework each night. Basketball is right around the corner!

N is trying to juggle high school and tennis. She's on the bottom rung of the tennis ladder having never played before joining the team, but she's glad she joined and is having fun. Plus it's only two more weeks. She also has a lot of band events coming up between marching at parades and homecoming.

I, myself and painting more. Pictures to come! Promise!!
