Book Club

Last night was my night to host book club. We read an exciting book by Harlen Coben entitled Gone for Good. It's a fast paced mystery with lots of twists and turns. This was a change of pace for us as we usually try to find a book with more depth. That said, from the conversation I think everyone really enjoyed the change.

The conversation is what draws me to the meeting. It's a chance to get out with my peers and discuss the daily grind. We range in age from early 30's to mid 40's and have children ranging from 1 to 22. We chat, laugh at each other and ourselves and relax.

But Oui! The wine! For some reason I thought as long as I am hosting I will have a little extra wine. Yikers! Here it is 10 am and I am still sitting around contemplating all the things I should have done already...

I read a book by that author when I was on my cruise and really enjoyed it. It was called "Tell No One". If you like that type of book I recommend the author Lisa Gardner.

This sounds like so much fun! How did you start your book club?
