Cowgirl and Duck

Yesterday was Halloween so we loaded up the horses and headed to town. I'd like to say we rode into town, but there wasn't enough time. Trick or treating started at 4:00 and Nicole doesn't get off the bus until 3:55.

Nicole dressed up as a cowgirl (hey - it was easy). We were to meet her friends at the post office at 5 pm. As we were saddling, her ducky friend Alex showed up and said "I'm riding double with you!" Which is just fine 'cause they've been taking lessons together from day one. Nikki, my 23 year old Morgan cross was her usual calm self. Her attitude for most of the night was "what's in the bag? A treat for me?"
